As someone who loves keeping things simple but delicious, I’m always looking for recipes that are both fast and flavorful. These breadsticks come together in a flash with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, and the best part? They’re soft, pillowy, and perfect for dipping in your favorite marinara or just enjoying as is. Whether you’re making them for a family dinner or a snack, these breadsticks are sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face!

Method
- Mix together water, brown sugar, salt, yeast. Let set until foamy (3-5 minutes)
- Add the flour.
- Knead until dough is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if needed. Dough will be stickier than bread dough.
- Optional: Add two teaspoons of seasoning of choice when you add the flour.
- Let rise until double.
- On a greased (tallow, lard, or olive oil) parchment paper on a cookie sheet, press the dough flat, making sure it's even. Cut into bread stick shapes with a pizza cutter and bake at 350℉ for 15-20 minutes.
- Brush with butter immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle with cheese or garlic powder.
