There’s something truly magical about homemade chocolate caramel candy—rich, creamy caramel wrapped in smooth, velvety chocolate. It’s the perfect treat to share with loved ones, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a sweet moment together. As a homesteader, I love making this candy from scratch, knowing exactly what goes into it. The balance of sweet and savory is simply irresistible, and the satisfaction of making something this delicious from home is unbeatable. Once you taste this chocolate caramel candy, it’ll be hard to resist making it year-round, because it’s a treat that’s loved by everyone, every time!

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup milk chocolate chops
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 7 oz marshmallow cream
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 10-14 oz caramel candies
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
Method
- Melt together both ingredients.
- Spread onto bottom of a 9x13 pan, refrigerate until firm.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter.
- Add the sugar and milk. Bring to simmer for five minutes, then remove from heat.
- Add the marshmallow cream, peanut butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir until combined, layer on top of layer one. Refrigerate until chilled.
- In a saucepan, melt together the caramel candies and heavy whipping cream until smooth and creamy.
- Spread on top of layer two and return to refrigerator to chill.
- Melt together both ingredients.
- Spread on top of layer three. Refrigerate until chilled.
