There are definite signs of fall in the air here in Northern Iowa. As much as I want to embrace each new season, the beginning of fall always makes me sad! I love those warm muggy summer days that last forever. Where the air is so humid that we move slowly and deliberately and time seems to slow dow. But alas, as soon as August arrives, the mornings and evenings become crisp, and time seems to speed recklessly towards winter! And it’s the memory of harsh winters that bring tears to my eye!

I have a lot of traveling ahead of me this Fall and I am excited to meet some of you at these events!

RuthAnn I admire all the work you do, all the knowledge you share and how humble you are in all your endeavors. It is so enlightening to observe your family’s deep values and commitment to each other and natural everyday celebrations you cultivate. Your work is refreshing. Thank you for sharing your skills, your values and natural joy for each and everyday. Can’t even begin to tell you how uplifting inspiring all of your videos have been. I can not wait to receive your book, it has been ordered, and keep checking back the date of deliver and get more excited each time I look and see it is closer to receiving.
RuthAnn,
Was in Goods yesterday and they have a great display with your book. Congratulations!!
I just found your blogs and they are wonderful. Do you make your own clothes? I would like either the shop or pattern for your bib overalls and even your dresses. They look so comfy and practical.
Would you share.
Cathy

We live in Australia and love watching your YouTube videos every week. We have been to America several times over the years and have been to every state. I am so excited for your book release and hope to buy a copy when they become available. Thankyou for making such ” down to earth” content and l hope you continue for many years. Debbie.
Dearest RuthAnn,
So excited you are coming to Pennsylvania. I will be at one of the two events in October for sure!
I can’t wait to get your book as well.
I am to be a first time grandmother come the end of January 2026. My new daughter and Mom to be is natural and nutrition oriented, but new to fending for herself and family. I have been canning and gardening and Amish produce auction going since moving to Chester County, PA 12 years ago. Long story shortened… I was wondering if you can point me to resources for making baby food fresh and canned for my new little one to be.
I’d love to be able to supplement her desire for less processed foods for her newborn in a practical way.
Cheers and thank you.

Ruth Ann. I cant wait to meet you someday. I live in Houston, Texas. I hope you come near here soon
Wish you would come to Georgia!!
Sadly I’m in South Africa – so wish I could attend one of your events.
RuthAnn I know you not able to answer all the comments individual but if at all possible: can you please help me with a shelf stable pickled egg recipe.
We are South Africans doing homebase missions (missionaries) in South Africa. I struggle to put our website address in as it asks me for URL (I have no idea what that is). Therefore I add it in the comment section http://www.auroraprimaryschool.com
