Apple Bundt Cake

Apple Bundt Cake

Servings: 6 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups cooking oil melted lard or tallow
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2-3 cups finely chopped apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Method
 

In a bowl, mix together until creamy:
  1. Cooking oil, granulated sugar, and eggs
Then add:
  1. All purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Mix until incorporated
Fold in:
  1. Chopped apples and nuts
Once assembled:
  1. Grease and flour your bundt pan
  2. Bake at 350F for 55-65 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  3. Cool for 8-10 minutes. Invert it onto cooling rack.
  4. Top with your favorite caramel sauce.
